Clayton Police Bulletin
Message from Clayton Police Chief for 6/1/20:
Clayton Police Bulletin:
The Clayton Police Department is actively monitoring all activity in the county, including social media posts about planned demonstrations and protests. At this time, we have unconfirmed information about possible activity in the city tomorrow afternoon. We respect everyone’s right to peacefully protest, but will not tolerate lawlessness, vandalism and violence.
All Contra Costa County Law Enforcement Agencies are working together and pooling our resources. Clayton Police will be increasing staffing tomorrow, and is recommending that all businesses close by 1pm, June 2nd.
We will continue to monitor the situation as it pertains to Clayton, and push out information as quickly as we can.
